On the morning of February 13, the tank landing ship RSS Persistence of the Singapore Navy, led by Colonel Ang Jeng Kai, Commander of the 3rd Squadron, and Lieutenant Colonel Anna Teo as the captain, with 89 officers and sailors docked at the port.
